A small atelier
for the painted wall.

The Canvasly Studio interior at golden hour — an easel, painter's palette, and an oil portrait in progress on a sunlit work wall

A painting made for one wall. Yours.

Every portrait is built around your photograph, your room, your eye. You choose the mood, the brushwork, the framing; we render four proofs, side by side, until the one that belongs above your sofa or beside your bed is unmistakable. Nothing committed to canvas until you say yes.

What ships is real, archival oil-painting craft — heavyweight gallery canvas, twelve-channel pigment rated for a century of light, gloss varnish applied by hand, raised brushwork in clear UV resin that catches the light the way real impasto does. Every detail you adjust on screen is the detail you hold a week later.

We keep painting until the portrait feels like the person, the pet, the place — not a copy, but a recognition. Likeness is where we begin. The rest — brushwork, light, the temperature of a colour — we work and rework until the painting belongs on the wall, and the room shifts slightly when you walk in.

Made online. Painted with care. Built to outlast the wall it's on.
