Multi-figure composition

Group portraits are harder than they look — three or four heads at slightly different angles, mixed skin tones, a dog at the bottom. The studio composes the canvas as one painting, not a collage, so every figure feels like they belong in the same light.

Worked from one photograph (or several)

Best if you have one good family photograph. If you do not, send several individual ones and the studio composes a single scene — same room, same light, same painted hand. Multi-generation portraits welcome.

Acid-free 380 g/m² cotton, twelve-channel UV pigment rated for 120 years, hand-varnished, framed in solid wood. Conceived as the kind of piece that gets passed down — not the kind that fades by the time the kids leave home.

Raised UV-relief rolled family portraits start at $49 for 8×10", but most customers choose 24×30" or 26×35" for groups. Each standard size has a clear fixed price.
›Can you paint someone who is no longer with us?
Yes — memorial family portraits are a frequent request. Send a clear photograph of the person separately from the family photograph and the studio composes them into the scene.
